We are partnering with a well-respected and established Parenting Assessment Centre in Northamptonshire, and they are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Social Worker to contribute their expertise to their exceptional team and positively influence the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

  • Champion Child Welfare : You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children through your expert involvement in comprehensive parenting assessments, directly contributing to positive family outcomes.
  • Mentor and Guide Colleagues : You will share your experience and knowledge to support and guide a team of committed professionals, fostering a collaborative and effective working environment.
  • Contribute to Operational Excellence : You will contribute to the smooth and effective day-to-day operations of the assessment centre, ensuring adherence to all relevant standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate Effectively : You will work closely with social workers, local authorities, and other partner agencies to provide thorough and insightful assessments.

We are looking for a candidate who brings :

  • Extensive Experience : You will be a highly experienced social worker within a social care setting, ideally with direct experience in child protection or parenting assessment.
  • Relevant Qualifications : You will hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, BA / MA in Social Work) and be registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills : You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and influence colleagues.
  • In-depth Knowledge : You will have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in child protection and family support.
  • A Genuine Passion : Your unwavering commitment to child protection and a strong desire to achieve positive outcomes for children and families will be evident in your professional practice.
