HGV Class 1 Drivers

HGV Class 1 drivers required for a large distribution company in Wellesbourne, with day shifts starting between 05 : 00 and 07 : 00. Pay rates range from £16.85 to £33.70 per hour. Shifts are available Monday to Friday, 8-10-hour shifts.This will be trunking between different sites within the group.Contract : Temporary, on-goingThe responsibilities of an HGV Class 1 Driver will be : - Must be able to work an average of 8-10-hour shifts with flexible starting times- Delivering to retail stores and delivery centres all over the UK- Arriving promptly and prepared to swap trailers- No nights out will be requiredTo be successful : - Must be competent completing delivery paperwork- 1 years Class 1 experience minimum- Must be flexible to switch shifts and start times- Must have a valid CPC & Digi card- Must complete driver assessment and induction before first shift that is paid- No more than 6 points for minor offences.Benefits : - Access to Pertemps driver training academy & refresher training- CPC / Driver training will be on offer- PAYE- Uniform and PPE will be provided- 24-hour contact- Weekly pay- Online payslipsIf you would like to apply for this role, then please call (phone number removed) click 'Apply' now and we will be in touch
