SEN Vacancy : English Teacher (PRU) - SM4 Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and adaptable English Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in SM4. Position Details :

• Position : English Teacher
• Location : Carshalton, London Borough of Sutton
• Start Date : Immediate Start
• Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM
• Unqualified Teacher Daily Rate : £120 - £170 per day (depending on experience)
• Qualified Teacher Daily Rate (QTS) : £180 - £250 (according to your teaching scale)
• Contract Type : Temporary to Permanent About the Role This role involves teaching KS3 students in small groups (up to six pupils) with a focus on providing tailored and impactful education. The role requires excellent behaviour management skills and an ability to engage reluctant learners in English. Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment in small group settings.
• Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to support the personal and academic development of students.
• Take on planning, preparation, and assessment duties associated with the role. Requirements
• Experience teaching KS3 or primary-aged students (experience in a PRU or similar setting is ideal).
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to diverse learner needs.
• Empathy, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting students with additional challenges.
• Warm and energetic personality with a desire to help students succeed.
• A valid DBS on the update service.
• The right to work in the UK.
