Essentials :

  • Proven knowledge and experience of working in a credit control department
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of building effective working / customer relationships
  • Attention to detail to ensure work is produced to a high standard and communications / notes are accurate and up to date at all times
  • Good planning and organisation skills are required, as is self-motivation to ensure tasks are completed to deadlines set
  • A flexible ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to change as business processes / systems evolve.
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths at grades C or above

What You’ll Be Doing :

Be part ofa team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, whereyour ideas and contributions matter.

  • Downloading cash from the bank and posting in SAP (multiple currencies).
  • Effective cash collections (emails / calls / customer relationships) to minimise overdue balances.
  • Liaising with internal teams to find solutions for late payments and order / deliveries blocks.
  • Credit checking new Customers and performing ongoing reviews for existing Customers.
  • Proposing (obtaining approval) and maintaining accurate credit limits and payment terms.
  • Following Credit Policy, working instructions and other Company Policies.
  • Assisting with month end reporting and other ad hoc requests.
