Duties and responsibilities
- Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move merchandise by hand or using material handling equipment
- Be responsible for the contents of shipments and for matching merchandise to purchase orders and verifying accuracy
- Pack, seal and label merchandise in preparation for shipment
- Load trucks with a forklift
- Prepare orders for shipment
- Stock workstations
- Be responsible for equipment inventory and respect the required inventory minimums and maximums
- Assess inventory needs based on orders
- Communicate inventory needs to production start-up
- Compressed schedule to take advantage of Friday afternoons off
- Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year, including 3 weeks of vacation upon being hired
