Job description

We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Data Master Controller to join us at our state-of-the-art Bedford HQ. Working Monday to Friday, for 37.5hrs you'll be paid £27810.98.

Purpose of the role

As Master Data Controller, you will be responsible for the set up and maintenance of the Oracle customer, pricing, products and client master data for all clients.

To be responsible and contribute in the continuation of cleansing the current master data in accordance to the businesses requirements and standard operating procedures.

You will have responsibility for the investigation and swift resolution of any issues arising from Movianto's electronic ordering platforms, as well as the creation and maintenance of data on Owens and Minor Marketplace.

How you'll make an impact as a Master Data Controller at Movianto :

  • Create and maintain customer and client master data in the Oracle system.
  • Understand and comment on customer regulations relevant to pharmaceutical distribution.
  • Manage articles / products and pricing within Oracle.
  • Assist in data uploads using tools like WEBADI.
  • Analyse and update master data records annually.
  • Cleanse Oracle master data and support short-term quality improvements in account processes.
  • Block / unblock accounts as needed.
  • Collaborate with Credit Control to ensure efficient credit checks for orders.
  • Work with Customer Services to ensure legitimate order processing.
  • Maintain price changes per service level agreements and report deviations to the Master Data Team Leader.
  • Resolve incorrect master data issues following claims investigations to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in system testing for new processes and changes.
  • Support the implementation of new clients and develop relationships with client teams regarding master data.
  • Provide ad-hoc data reports to clients and resolve related queries.
  • Recommend process improvements and assist in implementing approved changes.
  • Achieve 99.95% accuracy monthly.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support the Master Data Team.

  • Understanding of the credit process.
