Job overview
Interviews will be held on 17 May 2024.
Are you a passionate nurse? Do you want to be a part of an exciting new model of care? Whether you're newly qualified or have clinical experience, this is your chance to join a unique and modern CAMHS service. Based in Wokingham, our day-hospital provides interventions for young people with complex mental health issues requiring tier-4 level care, but who would benefit from a more flexible, community-based approach.
We run from 8am to 8pm Mon-Fri, and 9am-5pm Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays (365 days); you'll be required to work shifts. You'll have access to benefits such as flexible working; annual leave, 27 days for new starters, more for NHS long-service; excellent learning and development opportunities; generous maternity, paternity and adoption leave for eligible staff; child-care vouchers; salary sacrifice scheme for a new care, incl. Trust lease car scheme, and more!
For this role, you'll need a passion for working with young people, and ideally, some experience of operating in CAMHS. Still, newly qualified nurses will absolutely be considered for this role. You'll need a full UK driving licence and use of a car, but we'll still consider those currently working towards obtaining their licence who can still travel to Phoenix in the interim.
If you're eager to be a part of an innovative CAMHS service, one that will support you to develop as a clinician, whilst giving you the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients, then this position is for you.
