Demand Planner

Our established and highly successful client are working with us on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Demand Planner.

In this key role, you will effectively maintain an ordering pattern that provides sufficient stock levels for a variable demand product portfolio, and at the same time meet targets for product availability and stock holding value.

You will be responsible for Vendor deliveries ensuring parts arrive on time and in full while monitoring any arrears and progress chase these so past dues are kept to a minimum.

The role also has the responsibility of co-ordinating the department activities and to drive improvements and projects to support the attainment of department KPI's.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ownership over assigned group of products, monitoring the supply in line with company targets, placing PO's where needed and mitigating risk where met.
• Work closely with the wider business to fully understand the demand on products and inventory levels.
• Become an expert on the full supply chain for assigned products as to mitigate risk and maximise opportunity.
• Develop key relationships with both internal and external teams in order to monitor and track inventory.
• Maintain accurate and efficient stock levels in line with company targets.
• Develop, track and report on a suite of KPI's.
• Ensure high level of service to internal customers.
