Head of Operations & Delivery

With Insight Education is a charity dedicated to empowering black-heritage students to excel in their educational and professional pursuits, with a focus on supporting their progression to top universities and into aspirational careers.The Head of Operations & Delivery will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all With Insight Education programmes. This role is critical in ensuring that our programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to a consistently high standard. The successful candidate will also oversee internal operations, streamlining processes and procedures to enhance organisational efficiency.This is a pivotal role in the growth plan for the charity and will involve working closely with the CEO.Key Areas of Responsibility

Programme Management : Lead the strategic planning and delivery of all programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

Manage programme budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient delivery.

Monitor and evaluate programme impact, implementing improvements as needed.

Operations Oversight : Streamline internal processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Oversee IT systems, ensuring they meet organisational needs and support programme delivery.

Implement and manage operational policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership : Manage and support programme staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Provide leadership and professional development opportunities for the team.

Implement and manage HR policies and procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, funders and stakeholders.

Represent the organisation at external meetings and events.

Identify opportunities for programme growth and partnership development.

Desirable Skills and Experience : Experience working with mentoring programmes or similar educational initiatives.Knowledge of compliance requirements in the charity sector.Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools.Experience in scaling programmes or organisational growth initiatives.Understanding of the challenges faced by Black-heritage students in education and employment.
