Job description

We have just registered a great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our successful and growing Client on a temporary basis. The role could potentially lead to a permanent position.

Working as part of a close-knit team you will be ensuring that HR Operations are delivered to a high standard, providing an excellent service to all members of staff.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary HR Advisor Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and support on employee relations matters
  • Managing the onboarding and leaver process
  • Ensuring that HRIS is up to date, in line with the latest policies and changes
  • Advising on company benefits package
  • Preparing the payroll actions each month and dealing general payroll and pension queries
  • Dealing with recruitment and selection
  • Managing and responding to staff queries
  • Contributing to the revision / maintenance of the Staff Handbook and HR policies in line with legislative changes and best practice
  • Supporting the company’s Learning and Development agenda
  • Supporting the company’s performance management process
  • Supporting the development of the company’s DEI agenda

    Temporary HR Advisor Requirements

  • Proven and dedicated HR experience at advisor level
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Extremely well organised and detail -orientated
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and organise own time / prioritise
  • Supportive and open to partnering with staff from across the wider business to tackle challenges and find solutions
  • Excellent verbal / written communication
  • Effective project management skills
  • Familiarity with Bamboo HR
  • Strong grasp of employment law and essential employee policies
  • Experience in performance management, DEI and L&D
