I am currently working on an opportunity in an excellent school in Hackney who offer high-quality education in a vibrant, innovative learning environment, where students and staff feel valued and supported.

As an Economics ECT in this ‘Good’ (OFSTED 2020) School, you will be required to :

  • In conjunction with the Lead Economics Teacher, help design and deliver a distinctive Economics curriculum that meets the aims of the school, emphasises attainment and the needs of all students
  • Assisting the Head of Department to develop a coherent school wide approach to literacy through the curriculum
  • To provide specialist subject Economics expertise as appropriate

The requirements for this Economics ECT position :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Top 20 UK University
  • QTS obtained through PGCE / Teach First / SCITT / Schools Direct
  • Experience Teaching Economics up to KS5
  • Positive attitude towards pupil’s learning and an encouraging and enthusiastic teaching approach
