Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about education? We are looking for Supply Cover Supervisors in Hoddesdon to support schools by delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of regular teachers. Beginning ASAP.

Cover Supervisor Duties :

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects and year groups
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support students in completing their work and maintaining focus
  • Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity in learning
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour

Ideal Cover Supervisor :

  • Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Confidence in delivering lessons across different subjects (no subject specialism required)
  • A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning as a Cover Supervisor
  • A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
