You’ll be teaching engineering apprentices in a fast-paced, exciting environment, while also engaging with industry-leading development to take your career to the next level.

This role is ideal if you :

Are an Engineering Lecturer  or  an Engineer who’s looking to start a career in education with a high-level teaching qualification  fully funded by us

Would enjoy teaching engineering to apprentices in a brand newstate-of-the-art facility, kitted out by world-renowned engineering company  Haas

• Want to network with both regional and global companies in the sector through development days and other exciting projects to help keep our provision cutting edge

You will be responsible for :

Delivering a range of Engineering content to learners who are already working in industry through apprenticeships

Getting involved with exciting initiatives like student visit programmes, such as the Turing exchange scheme, where level 3 engineering students visit  Valencia  in 2023!

Liaising with external organisations to ensure the programmes are constantly up-to-date and learners get a consistently great experience

Engaging with both academy and cross-college CPD to improve your teaching and learning practices

After your first year with us, success would look like :

Have built student skills to a high level in preparation for industry

Enthusiastically engaged with professional development to expand your education skills and further your FE career

You’ve worked closely with external partners to support student progression into positive destinations

Have high-level qualifications & industry experience in Engineering

Be committed to work towards a teaching qualification within 12 months of starting, or already hold
