Safeguarding Manager£(phone number removed)PermanentSouth-East of England (London / Kent / Sussex)My client is a leading provider of housing solutions and in the search of a Safeguarding Manager.We are looking for someone who has :

• Previous experience in a leadership / management Safeguarding role
• Experience in the childcare sector
• Experience in developing and maintaining professional relationships with external stakeholders and to be able to represent the company at agency meetings, groups and hearingsYour daily tasks would include :
• Lead the implementation of safeguarding policies, protocols and procedures
• Promote a culture where the safety of vulnerable Children in Care, Children in Need and Care Leavers is paramount and to reduce organisational risk
• Act as the Safeguarding lead and ensuring that a stable and secure environment is provided for all young people.
• Develop and maintain external links with local safeguarding teams, bringing community expertise into the strategy for Ready Homes
• Review the safeguarding policy and procedures on an annual basis to deliver the safeguarding strategy and incorporate current legislationIn return my client is offering the following benefits : Generous pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life cover, company phone / laptop, Health Membership as well as £47k-55k depending on experience
