Workshop Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter (Full Training into HGV)

35,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped Premium Overtime + Full Technical Training + Career Progression + Company Events + Company Pension + No Call Outs

Workshop Based, commutable from Yate, Tetbury, Malmesbury, Dursley, Stonehouse, Gloucester, Cirencester and surrounding areas.

Are you an Engineer with a background in Automotive, PSV, REME, Plant or similar looking for the opportunity to massively develop your skillset through on-the-job training with the view to becoming a technical expert, where you have clear progression routes all whilst having the option of uncapped premium overtime to massively boost your earnings?

Due to their continued expansion they are looking to take on an additional HGV Technician to assist within their busy workshop.

On offer is a HGV Technician position where you will be fully invested in and trained on-the-job with the view to become a technical expert, working on a variety of refuse vehicles and HGVs for a variety of clients. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a fleet of vehicles working within a close knit team of experts within the busy workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer from any Automotive, PSV, REME, or similar background looking to expand their technical skillset and affect their earnings whilst working on a busy fleet of vehicles.

The Role :

  • Service, repairs and maintenance of a fleet of HGVs and Refuse Vehicles
  • Working as part of a small technical team in the workshop
  • Full Internal & External Training into HGVs

The Person :

  • Experience in a mechanically biased role (REME, PSV, Vehicle etc)
  • Looking for technical development and training
  • Full UK Drivers License
