Quality Inspector

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision machining company, based in Redditch, West Midlands, who are actively looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.About The Company : Our client are a subcontract precision engineering company, who have been around since 1986. They are based in Redditch and specialise in the precision machining of parts and components for a range of industries, including Automotive, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Medical, and more. They are investing heavily at the moment, in both their facility and their team.Working Hours : Monday to Thursday (07 : 30 AM until 16 : 30 AM) and Friday (07 : 30 AM until 12 : 30 PM)Salary / Pay : Up to £18.50 per hour (Up to £37,000 per year) (Depending on experience)Key Responsibilities :

• Visual and hands-on inspection of a range of machined parts and components for various industries.
• Utilising a range of inspection equipment, including micrometres, verniers, calipers, height / depth gauges, and shadowgraphs.
• Writing manual and CNC programs using a CMM (PC-DMIS software)
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.Requirements :
• Previous experience within quality inspection is required.
• Previous experience programming CMM is required.
• Previous experience using PC-DMIS software is desirable.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
