As many of you know, working in a SEMH setting can be both challenging and rewarding. We are seeking a candidate with a wide range of experience in special education, particularly within EYFS and Key Stage 1. The ideal applicant will not only possess extensive knowledge of developmental milestones and strategies for engaging young learners but will also demonstrate a passionate commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere for our pupils.

In this role, as Lead, you will play a key part in developing and leading a dedicated team of staff. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of professionals are essential. If you feel ready to take on this challenge, we encourage you to apply.

You will :

  • Support every child to reach their potential through adaptive, personalised teaching.
  • Hold a moral commitment to learning and achievement through a personalised primary curriculum.
  • Have knowledge of SEND developments and experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Embrace high expectations of learning and behaviour and be committed to engage pupils with a range of pastoral and academic challenges.
  • Be an effective team player with excellent communication skills.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to a fully enhanced DBS check.
