Job description

Pharmacist Pay Rate : £36 per hour (assignment rate)

Location : Tottenham

Contract Type : Locum ongoing contract

Main duties of the Pharmacist :

  • Provide a high level of expert clinical pharmacy input at specialist level as part of the multidisciplinary team to improve and enhance the quality of patient care.
  • Provide pharmaceutical support and advice to patients in the emergency department.
  • Develop systems to provide medicine management reviews for identified and targeted patients who are housebound, in care homes or on multiple medications.
  • Requirements of the Pharmacist :

  • GPHC Registration
  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacist within a UK based NHS Pharmacy setting
  • NVQ or equivalent – Pharmacist qualification
  • Car driver preferable
