P&L Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Accounts Senior to join a growing Accountancy Practice in Glasgow. This role would be an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant ready to take the next step in their career and progress to a Senior. This is a full-time, office-based role, however, flexible working hours / condensed hours and part-time hours will also be considered.
Main Duties :
- Prepare sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts
- Accurately process accounting adjustments using software such as SAGE, Xero, or FreeAgent
- Manage client relationships effectively
- Prepare management accounts
- Prepare self-assessment tax returns
- Prepare and review VAT returns
- Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
- Review work prepared by junior staff
