SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD)About the RoleTeach Now UK is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to support students in a vibrant and inclusive school located in Colindale, London. This is a part-time, permanent position offering an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.As an ASD Specialist, you will work closely with students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored one-to-one and group support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.   • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with ASD, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior management strategies.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to deliver tailored interventions.
  • Encourage and promote independence, confidence, and social interaction among students.

  • Experience working with children with ASD in a school or similar setting.
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (Level 2 / 3 preferred).
  • Strong understanding of ASD and strategies to support students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to inclusivity.
