The successful Controls Engineer could have worked in any industry if the Siemens TIA Portal knowledge is strong!Key aspects of the Controls Engineer role include;
• Leading software activities for mainly material handing / conveyor type projects
• Controls Engineer will have the opportunity to progress to Lead Engineer role
• Company has a culture of pushing the boundaries of what systems and technology can do
• Contribute to the development and / or review of the project FDS
• Design system architectures and software components using Siemens TIA Portal
• Knowledge of SCL (Structured Control Language) for data management and loops is required
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and software validation
• Oversee system integration, upgrades and commissioning
