Job description

Are you an experienced and adaptable Cover Supervisor looking for a new challenge? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, covering lessons in a vibrant and successful secondary school in the Clitheroe area.

About the Role :

  • Position : Cover Supervisor
  • Location : Clitheroe area
  • Start Date : Immediate or flexible start available
  • Contract : Flexible working arrangements, competitive daily rates

As a Cover Supervisor, you will :

  • Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  • Ensure students remain engaged, focused, and on-task throughout the lesson.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the school’s policies on behaviour and safeguarding.

    The ideal candidate will :

  • Have previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
  • Be confident, approachable, and adaptable to a variety of situations.
  • Hold a genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal development of students.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
