Base Location : Flexible Scotland | We're proud to offer a approach to work, and these roles are no exception. We will however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices across Scotland (Inverness / Aberdeen / Perth). We would also be interested in applications from individuals in the Western Isles.

Salary : £55,200 - £83,000 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The SSEN Transmission Delivery Team is currently recruiting for Senior Project Managers to join our team and be part of the exciting journey in delivering a number of new High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects throughout Scotland. These projects are being delivered under the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) framework for 2030 to directly facilitate Scotland's ambitions to meet Net-Zero.
In order to deliver these projects, we have adopted an innovative delivery strategy via a disaggregated delivery model. This has unlocked opportunities for Senior Project Managers to manage our onshore based civil and building packages. This will involve directly managing our civils supply chain and working alongside the Design and HVDC Converter Equipment package teams throughout the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase in 2025, and then into the Delivery phase.
The scale of our portfolio of projects is continuing to grow in the coming years, meaning there is opportunities for career progression within the business for candidates.
