Service Driver Rayleigh Our client is seeking an experienced and confident Service Driver to join their busy and expanding team. You will be covering Essex, Kent and Central London areas. About the Role : As a Service Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your responsibilities will include :
- Driving to various facilities across Essex, Kent, and Central London to ensure washrooms, bathrooms, and restrooms are spotless and well-maintained
- Keeping these areas fully stocked with necessary supplies
- Promoting a clean and hygienic environment to prevent the spread of germs and create a pleasant experience for all usersKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
- To service, install and uplift products at customers’ sites in line with our clients service standards.
- Replenishing consumables like toilet paper, hand soap, hand towels, and sanitizers. Replacing air fresheners or scent dispensers to maintain a fresh-smelling environment.
- Emptying waste bins and ensuring sanitary disposal of hygiene products (such as feminine hygiene products). Replacing waste bin liners and ensuring cleanliness around disposal areas.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times, ensuring you are polite and professional when speaking to customers or the general public.
- To be aware of the following day’s route including the logical route and allowing for any timed services or other irregularities
- Responsible for ensuring iPad are signed by the customer on completion of service, if for any reason you are unable to service a particular customer that you inform the office immediately
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with company procedure and all company required documentation is given to the office in a timely manner
- Assume responsibility for loading your vehicle with the correct products to ensure all the customers on your route receive the correct service
- Ensure housekeeping is of the highest quality to provide a clean and safe working environment on customer sites
- Responsible for checking the vehicle in accordance with the drivers weekly check sheet and to advise your manager of any vehicle defects and maintenance
- To assume responsibility for driving the vehicle safely and in accordance with road traffic laws, ensuring the cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out is maintained
- Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure
- Responsible for observing all health and safety regulations and procedures when visiting customer sites and the workplace depot
- Provide support in the depot as and when required
- Please note – a DBS Check will be required for this role also a maximum of 3 points will be accepted on a UK licence
- Job Type : Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday 40 hrs p / wSalary : £27,500PA pay rise pending in May 2025 Benefits :
