Job Opportunity : Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We're looking for a caring and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join this family-owned residential care home team. The shifts are from 9pm to 7am, with a competitive hourly rate of £14. If you have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or are working towards it), we’d be excited to have you on board.

This residential care home is a close-knit team dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm and supportive environment. Your dedication and compassion will truly make a difference in the lives of the residents.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Helping with handovers at the end of each shift, making sure everyone is informed and up to date.
  • Creating a caring and supportive environment that meets the physical and emotional needs of residents.
  • Making sure there are enough staff on shift and planning ahead for future staffing needs.
  • Reviewing and updating care plans to ensure they match residents' needs and wishes.
  • Supporting residents with their daily personal care – like washing, bathing, dressing, and using hoists when needed.
  • Keeping the environment safe and secure for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Working together as a team to help keep everything running smoothly and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

What You’ll Need :

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or be working towards it).
  • Good communication skills.
  • A team player who’s comfortable leading and supporting others.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of our residents.
  • What is on Offer :

  • Ongoing training and development, including fully funded diplomas up to NVQ Level 5.
  • A variety of tasks – no two days will ever be the same!
  • Long-term career opportunities.
  • 28 days of annual leave.
  • FlexEarn – the option to access a portion of your wages before payday for extra flexibility.
  • No DBS fees.
  • Employee assistance program to support your wellbeing.
  • A Blue Light Card offering discounts on retail and hospitality.
  • A “Refer a Friend” scheme where you can earn up to £400.
  • The chance to be part of an award-winning, family-owned organisation!
  • Ready to join a team where you’ll feel supported and make a real difference? Apply today
