Job Summary – As Marketing Assistant, you will report to the Marketing Manager, support the execution of the marketing strategy and assist in delivering campaigns across all brands, including Stores, The Maple, Tout’s Pharmacy, and Aurora Aesthetics. You will handle a range of tasks, from digital content creation to coordinating marketing materials, working closely with the Digital Marketing Executive and the store teams to ensure all activities align with brand standards and timelines. You will contribute to project planning and execution by following all campaign activity plans to help the marketing team achieve its objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support both the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive in implementing the marketing strategy and activity plans for each business area, aiming to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Assist with planning and executing digital, social media, and visual marketing campaigns, helping to create engaging, brand-aligned content for all channels.
- Demonstrate confidence in front of the camera and enthusiasm to participate in our social media activities.
- Work closely with the digital marketing executive to optimise online content exposure and audience interaction through SEO, pay-per-click (PPC), and other digital strategies.
- Use project and campaign activity plans to stay on track with objectives, reporting progress to the Marketing Manager.
- Collaborate with store teams to support promotional activities, ensuring effective communication and high engagement.
- Gather data for reporting purposes, tracking key performance metrics to help assess campaign impact and ROI.
- Conduct regular research on competitors and industry trends to identify potential improvements and new opportunities.
- Support brand consistency across all marketing channels, ensuring all content and materials align with company standards.
- Send out the weekly marketing checklist to team members across the business, ensuring tasks are clearly communicated and on track.
- Upload the NISA leaflets and manage promotional changeovers on the website, maintaining up-to-date and relevant content.
- Keep the local section of the website current, highlighting suppliers, community events, and promotions as needed.
- Manage the Points Burn campaign every six months, collaborating with the team to ensure effective customer engagement.
- Provide support with TOUT’S Card administrative management as needed, including coverage for team absences.
- Assist with event management across all brands, including support for TOUT’S Food Festival, Maple events, product launches, and other promotional activities as appropriate.
Essential skills :
A passion for social media and marketing with a creative mindset.Confidence with a wide range of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a high attention to detail.Strong organisational skills.The ability to execute multiple campaigns for multiple brands during the same timeframe.Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Basic graphic design skills.Experience with social media management, content creation, and graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.Desire to learn new software and tools.A Full UK Driving License.If you are a creative individual looking for a new challenge in marketing, we’d love to hear from you! Job Type : Part Time (around 24 hours but can be negotiated and flexible and can accommodate school hours)
Pay : £12.00 per hour
Work Location : Based at TOUT’S Cleeve Head Office but may include working from other locations in the business.
