Job description

Are you a versatile and dedicated teacher looking for a new supply role? Step Teachers are working with a Secondary School in King’s Lynn to find a General Cover Teacher to start in March 2025. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing high-quality education across various subjects and year groups.

Duties as a General Cover Teacher :

Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons across various subjects.
Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all associated resources.
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure compliance with the school's policies and their reliable implementation.

Ideal General Cover Teacher :

Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary education.

Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a General Cover Teacher / teaching.

Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.

Good level of classroom and behaviour management.

SEND experience is desirable.
