My client R is looking for a personal care assistant to support him with his daily routine and accessing the community. R is a great lover of music and has been involved in the music industry for a long time. My client is a smoker. Main Duties To support with :

Support to transfer from bed to wheelchair to shower and help with personal care / hygiene routine including washing / showering and dressing. Applying creams when he is unable to do so.
Support accessing the local community and facilities including shops, assistance with shopping and carrying items.
Access transport services / public transport to attend appointments when needed.
Support with keeping his home clean and tidy, to enable him to move around his home freely and safely in his wheelchair. Desirable criteria :
Have use of own vehicle.
Some flexibility with working hours would be advantageous.
Have experience of working as a PA and be able to support with moving and transferring (although training will be provided)

Personal Qualities & Attributes Required

Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.

Excellent timekeeping.

Some previous PA experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Good communication and social skills.

To respect confidentiality and privacy. Location : Fishponds, Bristol. Hours : Monday 10 : 00am - 1 : 00pm; Wednesday 10 : 00am - 12.00noon & Friday 10 : 00am – 1 : 00pm

Pay : £12.00 Per Hour.

Holiday : 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time). Start Date : ASAP. Additional Information

Appointment will be subject to a DBS check, funded by the employer.
