Posting Context Statement : The position supports the primary investigator in researching small grain agronomic and pathology issues. The position supervises the work of the Cereal Extension team at the Aberdeen R&E Center and works with additional Research Technicians in planning field work. The position is responsible for implementing experiments, performing statistical analyses, supervising, quality control of field and lab data, and operating machinery such as combines, planters, and tractors.
Position Overview : Performs research activities and analysis; implements and evaluates research procedures and data. Records observations and measurements then reports results. Responsible for analyzing and preparing results for publication. Works under general supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude. May supervise junior research personnel.
