To meet our aspirations to deliver high quality healthcare for the people of the Borders we are focusing on the delivery of the NHS Borders Vaccination Programmes.

As part of the Vaccination Transformation Programme, we are looking for an individual who would be keen join us to vaccinate to a wide spectrum of age ranges. This would include babies and pre-school children, as well as Pneumococcal, Shingles RSV, Covid & Flu vaccinations to young people and adults. Vaccinations are delivered in health centres, community clinics, schools, care homes and patient’s homes across the whole of the Scottish Borders. An observation of a baby & pre-school vaccination session will be part of the interview process.

Excellent communication skills and a strong approach to team working are vital for this role. The ability to work independently is also a key skill for this role.

You should be able to demonstrate a well-developed understanding of our core values and beliefs in order to deliver an efficient service and a high standard of quality care.

Please note : the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata
