Pig Farm Manager - Ireland, EUPIG FARM MANAGERPig Farm Managers oversees the overall units of the farm and its people. They are responsible for the planning, directing all units / sections and hands-on management of the farm. They see to it that all the deliverables and tasks are carried-out correctly and efficiently.QUALIFICATIONS : - Must be a GRADUATE of Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Livestock Management, Swine Management and other related courses. Trainings and seminars under this area is / are an ADVANTAGE too.- AT least 3 to 5 years of HANDS-ON work experience in a PIG OR SWINE FARM ONLY (poultry, crops and vegetables, and the like are not included.)- We prefer applicants who has an experience in all units or sections of the farm especially in Breeding and Farrowing.- Have the skills in ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION (AI)- Have handled large numbers of sows- Have the knowledge and expertise in treating sows and pigs- Initiator of good and productive planning and strategies in Pig Farming- Exhibits STRONG leadership skills and qualities-Knows the Technicalities and KPI's of the Farm (Born Alive rate, Mortality rate, and the like)-Must have the knowledge on how a farm (swine) operates.-Must be knowledgeable of the Feeding System- Can work in a fast-phased and automated work environment- Must be willing to work in Ireland for 2 years and up- Must be task and result-oriented person- Knowledgeable about MS Office and other swine database- Good and spontaneous English Skills- Team Player, Strong Management Skill / s, Strong and Firm personality, Flexible, Hardworking, Driven, and can work religiously and diligently with or without supervision.Salary Package : - 30,000 Euros to 35,000 Euros gross per year- Minimum of 2 years contract but can be extended up to 4 years and up upon the client’s discretionWork Assignment : - International (Ireland)- Accommodation and work permits will be shouldered by the Employer. Other expenses will be handled by the applicant.Job Type : Full-timeSalary : R600,000.00 - R700,000.00 per yearExperience : BREEDING AND FARROWING : 4 years (Required)Language : FLUENT ENGLISH (Required)
