Job description

Driver Hire Southampton are looking to recruit a Class 2 driver for one of our client in the Southampton area, you would need to be an individual that takes pride in their work, great with people and isn’t afraid of good old fashioned hard work. In this role you will be a regional delivering specialised goods to customers in and around the south coast. You will be accepted into a welcoming and friendly team who will provide guidance and training along the way.

Job information :

  • 7.30am Starts
  • Immediate start
  • Monday – Friday
  • Occasional weekends for overtime
  • Multi drop deliveries
  • Supporting a network of local branches
  • Helping team to unload and load lorries

    • Requirements for this Class 2 position :

  • UK CAT C (Class 2) licence
  • CPC and Tacho graph cards
  • HIAB / lorry loader certificate (preferable) training provided
  • No more than 3 points on licence (some exceptions may occur)
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • High level of customer service
