Job description

We are recruiting a Credit Controller to join our clients busy team located Colchester! This is a immediate temporary position for at least one month but could be extended. Paying 15.38 per hour ( 30,000pa) working in the office Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.

Job Purpose :

To Provide support to the management accountant; this includes assistance to the finance & SOP teams where required. Improve and initiate daily credit control processes, engaging with clients and maximising debt collection.

This Credit Controller duties will include but are not limited to :

Chasing of debtors and managing customer accounts.
Customer statements & reconciliations.
Maintenance of customer receipts profile for cash flow forecasting.
Weekly invoicing & credits.
Monitor Finance email inbox, and deal with daily customer queries.
Completion of relevant KPI's.
Assist with the Accounts Payable function (Processing invoices, statement reconciliations, dealing with queries).

Essential Attributes & skills to be considered for this Credit Controller role :

Credit Controller experience with Accounts Payable.

Experience of accounting packages.

Excellent I.T and Excel skills.

Ability to understand new tasks quickly with a positive and driven attitude that achieves results.

Available immediately for at least 4 weeks.
