Job description

Coppersmith Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Manager to join our client’s team in Harold Wood. This role is perfect for individuals with strong sales and managerial experience looking to transition into the automotive sector or are already in the sector and seeking a new challenge.Main Duties : Improved Profitability :

  • To ensure budgets and sales objectives are met by support to direct selling staff.
  • To seek greater margins from present or alternative finance sources or insurers.
  • Assess potential sales of finance warranties and insurance and calculate and agree targets for both
  • Revenue and associated costs for inclusion in the budget and three year plan including the demonstrator and wholesale stocking interest rates and any volume bonuses which may apply.Increased Business : To ensure that Sales Executives are fully aware of all finance facilities available which may help close a sale.Cost Control :
  • To ensure function costs do not exceed budget.
  • To ensure that dealership receives the budgeted percentage profit on each transaction.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for the control of referrals and completion of proposals and install systems to report on a weekly and monthly basis the level of achievement of target sales and profit including the calculation of commissions due to Sales personnel.Customer Satisfaction :
  • Handle all customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved to achieve customer and company requirements.
  • To ensure every customer has a clear understanding of obligations entered into.
  • To deal with all customer queries with utmost clarity and courtesy.
  • Meet every customer at point of sales explain the warranty and maximise opportunities to sell an extension to that warranty.Training :
  • Develop and maintain a full knowledge of all products accessories prices and key features of major competitors.
