We are seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team in Barry United Kingdom. As a Security Officer you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises staff and visitors.
- Monitor and control access to the premises ensuring only authorised personnel are admitted
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to deter and detect suspicious activity
- Respond swiftly and decisively to alarms and emergencies maintaining a calm and professional demeanour
- Provide excellent customer service whilst maintaining a strong security presence
- Compose clear accurate incident reports and maintain detailed security logs
- Operate security systems and surveillance equipment as required
- Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance security skills and knowledge
Qualifications :
Valid SIA licenceFirst Aid certificationExcellent command of English both written and verbalMinimum of 5 years experience in the security industryRight to work in the UK5-year checkable work historyWillingness to undertake fire safety course provided by the companyAbility to commute to Bridgend United KingdomStrong organisational skills and attention to detailCustomer-focused approach with a commitment to exemplary servicePhysical fitness and ability to stand for extended periodsFlexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekendsThorough knowledge of security protocols and emergency proceduresResilient and decisive nature with the ability to remain calm under pressureProficiency in operating security systems and surveillance equipmentAdditional Information :
