SEND Teaching Assistant

Flourish Education is seeking a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support two children in KS1 who are non-verbal and have complex needs at a 'Good'-rated Ofsted school near Willenhall.This role is perfect for a dedicated professional with experience working with children with SEND. You will provide support to the children who are mainly based in the school's nurture room. The children are non-verbal and are in school for mornings onlyThe role is a mornings only role 8.30-13.00, Monday-Friday and will continue until the end of the current school year and will continue into the next school year for the right person. This SEND Teaching Assistant Job Role : Supporting the Class Teacher with delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.Working with the pupils in the school's nurture roomPreparing classroom resources and assisting with lesson planning.Helping maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.Collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive and productive school day.Delivering interventions in the schools' resource base.
