Job descriptionProviding strategic direction and consultancy for a portfolio of clients, ensuring campaigns deliver measurable impact Leading and inspiring a team, supporting their professional development and fostering a culture of high performance Developing and overseeing PR, digital, and content strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives Building and maintaining trusted partnerships, acting as a senior point of contact and advisor Overseeing press, copywriting, and proofing to maintain high-quality outputs Managing client budgets, ensuring financial targets and profitability are met Playing a key role within the senior management team, contributing to business planning and agency strategy Strong experience in communications, PR, and media relations Agriculture, food, or the rural sector experience Ability to develop, execute, and oversee high-impact campaigns across multiple platforms Experience in managing and inspiring teams to deliver their best work A proven track record of building and maintaining senior client relationships Confidence in handling client budgets, forecasting and fees Strong editorial, copywriting and proofing skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agency environment and managing multiple projects Own transport to travel to clients' sites (approx. 1-2 nights per month)
Our client, specialising in the food, farming, and environment sectors, is seeking an experienced PR Account Director to provide maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, results-driven leader to drive high-impact PR and marketing campaigns for industry-leading clients.
What you can expect :
- Salary : £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience
- Flexible Working : Full-time or part-time, 20-37.5 hours per week
- Fixed Contract : to provide maternity cover
- 26 days plus 8 public holidays
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements : minimum of two office days per week

- Annual discretionary bonus, dependent on company performance
