Deputy Manager VacancyColindale32k, depending on qualifications and experience + benefitsThe Deputy Manager will be responsible to the manager of our pre-school to help in the management of all staff settings.Duties for our Deputy Manager role :

• Assist in the effective daily management, including the deployment of staff and the safety, security, education and wellbeing of all children registration requirements and all statutory legislation.
• Ensure that all required standards, ratios and conditions of registration are maintained at all times within the nursery
• Organise and implement the nursery’s key person system.
• Organise a programme of staff training to meet identified training needs and ensure all trainees receive appropriate mentoring, coaching and support.As a Deputy Manager you will need :
• At least two years’ proven experience of working in an early year’s care and education setting or at least two years’ other suitable experience
• Level 5 early years education and childcare qualification or Montessori equivalent, and a commitment to obtaining further training and professional development.
• Ability to prepare the setting for inspections to achieve and maintain at least a good-outstanding Ofsted rating.
• Ability to ensure the Montessori philosophy is maintained and upheld by all staff through regular training, reflection and supervision.
