By joining the Bright Horizons Early Years Graduate Programme, you’ll get the skills and real-world experience needed to become a future leader in early years.
As a graduate at Bright Horizons, you will be joining our fantastic nursery teams, where you will get the opportunity to shadow our early years specialists, learning from our experienced nursery managers and teachers, and spend time visiting other Bright Horizons nurseries.
Year 1 will be work-based, where you will complete the Bright Horizons Future Leaders Programme, with Year 2 allowing you to specialise further, either developing leadership skills and knowledge through the Deputy Managers Development Programme, or by developing your pedagogical leadership through gaining your Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
Once you’ve completed your training, you’ll be ready to graduate into a management or teaching role.
What you’ll be doing
Working as part of a nursey team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5.
Provide a caring and supporting environment where the children feel safe and looked after
Creating play and learning opportunities that support the children’s learning
Through your hands on learning and on the job training complete tasks for your qualification / talent programme
Development interventions and rotational placements to fast track your development into leadership roles
Working together with the Grad Programme cohort to deliver projects around your learning

What we’re looking for
BA Hons Degree preferably in Early Years / Childhood Studies or similar
GCSEs in Maths and English grade 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2
A genuine interest in working with children
A passion for helping children learn and wanting to make a difference in their lives
Commitment to completing the 2 year Graduate Programme
Confident communicator
Understanding and empathy towards children
Desire to learn
Able to start in September 2024
