Fifth Ring provides public relations, media relations and emergency response services to B2B companies across the globe. This role adds to the team to serve a growing international customer base.
It's an interesting time for many of the markets we serve, with pressures across different industries including ESG, the economy and the ever-growing impact of new technologies. We help our clients address these challenges and harness these opportunities by helping them tell relevant and impactful stories that help grow their business.

Our PR team are well connected, great writers, and have a genuine interest in making a difference for their clients. We can turn technical talk into engaging articles, pitch perfect press releases, and are ready to act in a crisis.

Responsibilities
Client
Immerse in client businesses to develop deep understanding of their unique place in their industryIdentify and develop story angles that can attract earned media coverageSupport the delivery of impactful communications campaigns for clients across the worldDevise and execute media and public relations plans that promote key company initiatives and messages as part of a wider campaignMonitor, shape and coordinate contribution to social media strategies and channelsSeek earned opportunities to profile key leaders and subject matter experts in alignment with business objectives (e.g. proactive press releases, technical features, editorials, podcasts)Constantly build new media relationships and nurture existing ones across traditional and new platforms, and develop strong, trusting relationships with reporters across key verticalsDevelop various types of content ranging from press releases and thought leadership articles to social posts and blogs as requiredProvide advice and counsel to client relating to media and public relationsWork with the creative team to develop impactful creative concepts to bring client ideas to lifeSupport with reputation issues as well as emergency response processesCompany
Join the on-call emergency response team on a rota basis within three months of joining the companyAct as a robust defender of the agency’s values, people and commercial interestsProvide the business development team with relative support as required, contributing to proposals and pitchesDemonstrate the effectiveness and impact of our workWork with business development and client services teams to own and produce new business proposals as requested to ensure the transition from pitch to activation is seamless when the work is wonSupport Fifth Ring’s marketing activities as necessaryColleague
Cultivate and rely on extensive informal networks inside and outside the agency to solve problemsWork effectively with the Traffic Manager to ensure client requirements are being metManage assigned support staff as appropriate and assist in their professional developmentSupport colleagues in all Fifth Ring locations through proactive creativity and visibility.
