Main Duties & Responsibilities : Complete hydrostatic testing procedures on industrial hose assemblies to ensure operational qualityLiaise with welders on-site to priorities test schedulesRecord any failures and report to quality department, quarantined, understand fault finding procedureLiaising with several department teams on-site to ensure a smooth end-to-end process of on-site operationsLiaising with production team - ensuring time slot within schedule available to test assemblies produced that aligns with customer lead timesLiaise with goods-in dept for incoming stockUnderstand in-house digital systems, for recording health and safety and operation quality dataAlways adhering to health and safety standards and procedures, ensuring workspace is clean and tidy throughout operationsComplete cross training for Assembler role as well
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications : Good understanding, competency and comprehension of the English language essential to adhere to health and safety on-siteBasic IT literacy - skills data entry and email correspondence essentialMathematically competent to handle angles, percentages and measurements involved (not at engineer level but basic competency)Technical and functional knowledge of mechanical assembly desired but not essentialExperience in operating machinery is advantageous but not essentialPrevious industry experience is advantageous but not essential
