Quantity Surveyor - LeicestershireRed Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on large-scale projects valued at £15 million or more within the groundworks and civils sector.Location : LeicestershireJob Type : Permanent, Full-timeSalary : £40,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + Car AllowanceKey Responsibilities : Stakeholder Management :  Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and meet reporting deadlines.Cost Management & Reporting : Provide accurate cost information, prepare monthly internal values, and monitor construction budgets.Change Management : Maintain the change register, manage control procedures, and ensure contract variations are handled appropriately.Procurement : Oversee subcontractor procurement, administration, and payments.Contractual Compliance & Risk Management : Review risk registers, address financial risks, and ensure compliance with contractual responsibilities.Collaboration & Leadership : Work closely with operational teams, manage resources effectively, and mentor junior staff.Continuous Improvement : Contribute to process enhancements and align commercial activities with business objectives.What You Need : Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.Proven experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.Experience in cost reporting and CVRs.Proficiency in relevant IT systems.Professional qualifications or RICS membership (or equivalent) are advantageous.Benefits : 26 days holiday plus bank holidaysPrivate healthcareCompany pension schemeCar allowanceVolunteering days with company-supported initiativesHealth care cash planCycle to work schemeCar leasing schemeDiscounted gym membershipLife assuranceOption to buy / sell additional holidaysExclusive discounts and cashback schemesThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering high-profile projects.
