Job description

Location : Nationwide with frequent travel Salary : Up to £55,000 DOE £5,500 car allowance / car 25% bonus Reporting to the Head of Insurance Partnerships, in this role you will generate new business and be the primary contact for relevant accounts, with responsibility for developing the relationship between those businesses and Autoglass. This is a field-based role and will therefore require work on an independent basis across a range of defined market sectors (Insurance, Fleet / Lease, Rental, Trade, Specialist markets) throughout the United Kingdom. The Business Manager will work closely with their accounts to identify additional strategic initiatives in order to strengthen the relationship as well as providing potential new revenue streams, and actively seek out and identify new business opportunities and to support the organisation in trying to secure them. Key Responsibilities To actively seek out and identify new business opportunities and to support the organisation in trying to secure them. To work closely with accounts to identify additional strategic initiatives in order to strengthen the relationship as well as providing potential new revenue streams. To manage the annual (or other) price negotiations so as to grow the margin profitability of the portfolio. To grow share by working with Autoglass Operations and / or other areas of the business as necessary to improve service performance or by influencing the key accounts to reduce leakage to alternative service providers. To provide a link between Autoglass support functions and the accounts to ensure that debt levels are kept to a minimum. To provide regular reports for key accounts be they weekly, monthly or quarterly, and to follow up with exception or other reporting needs. To be available to respond to queries from accounts in a timely and professional manner whenever they may arise. To fully understand the strategy, goals and drivers of the accounts and to work collaboratively with other areas of the business to ensure that Autoglass are able to swiftly react and exploit opportunities that arise. To provide support and assistance to other Business Managers during tender processes or annual negotiations and to provide cover during periods of leave. To work closely with the Head of Insurance Partnerships and other members of the Sales Team to develop and implement initiatives and strategies for the accounts. To utilise systems employed by the Sales function to provide key market information on existing and new clients, including maintaining those systems as deemed necessary by the business. Represent Autoglass at corporate events, portraying the values of Belron and maximising the opportunity to make new business contacts where possible. So, what are we looking for?
