Lisburn.If you don't feel like you meet all the role criteria outlined below, please don't let that discourage you from applying as we have a number of exciting opportunities.In this role you will be : Ensuring all finance transactions are processed accurately, timely and according to UK GAAP and other relevant standards / legislation.Month and year end reporting for assigned company and assistance with other month and year end reporting as directed and assisting group interaction on month and year end.Assisting with External Audit, VAT / Tax / Customs and related returns as required.Assistance in company cashflow forecasting and ABL facility management.Preparation of management accounts for review with senior management.Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis for review by the Finance Manager.Providing visibility to Finance and Operational Managers of costs and variances.Supporting the department managers in preparation for Budget and Forecast deadlines.Assisting with external auditors' requests (e.g. PWC / Mazars or Wells Fargo).Assisting in the preparation / reviewing of the entities VAT returns.What will help you to excel in this role : Finalist (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) / Qualified by experienceFinancial accounting experience to trial balance and management accounts levelStrong Excel experience (including ability to pivot / lookup)Significant understanding of finance systems and required controlsSubstantial understanding of Processes / Accounting PrinciplesExtensive experience of working in a busy pressurised finance environmentAccuracy and high-level attention to detail.What you can expect from us : Competitive base salaryFuture development and career opportunitiesContributory pension scheme with employer contributions up to 6%Profitshare bonus based on business performancePaycare and eyecare health schemeHigh street discountsWhat's nextIf you are interested in joining The Briggs Group, then please click on the apply now button and a member of the team will be in touch.Not sure if this is the right role for you?
