Lawyer

Our client is one of the largest banks in Asia, with a well-established and steadily growing presence throughout Europe.

This client is now looking for 2 people to join their loan execution team of 7 people based in the City, on an interim / contract basis, to take responsibility for smooth end-to-end management of the execution of loan transactions for finance deals across a variety of EMEA jurisdictions e.g. corporate loans, sovereign lending, structured financings, Islamic finance, fund finance, lending to NBFIs.

Role 1 – Director level, a minimum of 6 years’ legal and transaction management experience in corporate banking / lending; a solid understanding of syndication strategy and risk distribution, as well as proven experience in working closely with the front office. In-house experience is a

pre-requisite.

Role 2 – VP level, a minimum of 3 years’ legal and / or transaction management experience in corporate banking / lending. You must have cross-jurisdictional LMA experience in bilateral and syndicated loans.

We are looking for lawyers who can build strong relationships with the front office, as well as other internal departments such as middle office, legal and tax. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player.
