Location :  Liverpool

Contract :  Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and inspiring Geography Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Liverpool. This full-time role involves supporting students with additional social, emotional, and mental health needs, using individualized approaches to help them succeed.

The school is dedicated to treating each student as an individual, offering bespoke support packages tailored to their unique requirements. By fostering effective relationships and delivering high-quality teaching, the school enables students to make progress in attendance, attainment, learning, and personal development. Teachers use a variety of educational resources and personalized programs to engage and motivate students, helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role :

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Geography lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Build positive and effective relationships with students and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize individualized programs and creative approaches to motivate students and foster their academic and personal growth.
  • Contribute to the school's mission of improving attendance, attainment, and personal development for all students.

The Ideal Candidate Will :

  • Have experience teaching Geography, preferably in an SEMH or similar specialist setting.
  • Be reliable, resilient, and passionate about supporting students with additional needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with both students and colleagues.
  • Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
  • The ideal educator will have experience working in similar settings and be skilled at creating a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable and ready to learn.     All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
