Job description

HV / LV Engineer - Team Leader - Deeside / Chester - £60-64k + Quarterly Bonus Scheme (up to 14% of salary) + 10% Employer Pension Contribution + Private Medical

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an HV / LV Engineer to join a globally recognised manufacturing company with a large base in the Deeside / Chester area, responsible for all HV / LV infrastructure on site, ranging from incoming 33kV down to LV distribution systems.

Key aspects of the HV / LV Team Leader position include :

  • Leadership of a small, well-experienced team of HV Technicians and Electricians
  • Management of specialist HV support contracts & cable jointing contractors
  • Authorised to switch (33kV minimum) & able to write switching schedules
  • Strong communication & leadership skills
  • Participation on the site electrical safety committee
  • Deliver annual “Safety Near Misses” training
  • Understanding of current legislation, including "Electricity at Work" regulations
  • Management of Health & Safety regulations
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Specify and conduct risk assessments
