As a Project Manager you will join our busy Project Management Team in the planning and delivery of a portfolio of projects across the world, to defined scope, cost and quality for our clients. This role will best suit Project Managers from an engineering or scientific background, ideally with previous utility sector experience but other backgrounds will be considered.
Projects are interesting and varied, ranging from £5K to over £1m in value and address the challenges presented where the built environment interacts with nature. Recent projects have included a focus on sustainability and ESG, climate change adaptation, regulation, trialling new technologies and producing solutions for leakage, flooding and better quality water. There is the potential to work internationally as and when the opportunity presents itself.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for projects throughout their lifecycle including input to bids, project cost buildup and resource management. You will deliver projects successfully whilst providing a professional, first-class, consistent and effective project management service to the clients and all stakeholders.
- Act as the key, day-to-day client interface managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communication.
- Coordinate all resources for the flawless execution of projects, motivating project teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
- Develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures to monitor and track progress.
- Ensure adherence to governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with company standards and procedures.

Demonstrable project management experience, successfully delivering projects to the defined scope, cost and qualityExperience managing a diverse portfolio of projects with multiple clients to often demanding timescalesExcellent communicator with a proven record of building strong relationships with clients, teams and stakeholdersWorking towards or the desire to work towards a professional project management qualification is highly desirableExperience of using business analysis tools such as PowerBI is desirableEngineering or scientific background would be beneficial as well as experience in a consultancy environment, ideally in the utilities sectorSalary and Benefits
