Mechanical Technician

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician seeking work with a leading employer?Are you looking for an employer of choice that can offer career progression, training and development?Our leading Facilities Management client are seeking a motivated and keen Mechanical Technician on a full time temp to permanent contract in Worcester Royal Hospital - WR5 1DDWorking as part of a highly successful Facilities team, you should be able to maintain wet systems, heating and hot water, steam boilers etc. and mechanical ventilation systems (AHU) in a hospital environment.

• Pay rates- £17.31+ Holiday Pay + Pension + Overtime ratesDuties include :
• AHUs / FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
• Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
• Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
• Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
• Water pressurization units
• Condensers, Condenser Returns
• Cooling towers
• Boilers – re-sets
• Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faultsExperience needed :
• Motivated and keen to learn
• Local to the area and driving license
• Updated Enhanced DBS
• Formal trades qualification or experience
