Disability Assessor Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Paramedics

Salary : £39,500

Location : Ashford

Work Model : Hybrid remote roles available across South West England.

Positions : Full and Part-time positions available

We are currently recruiting for hybrid remote Disability Assessors who would like a role that involves working from home and in the office with no weekends, bank holidays, or long shifts. Following a 2-day induction at Head Office, you will start a 5-week comprehensive home-based training program, followed by an engaging hybrid working model that provides exceptional support along your journey.

Main Duties

  • Speaking with people claiming the WCA benefit over the phone or face to face, as part of a consultation session. These cases will all be organised for you, leaving you free from any appointment admin.
  • Working with a variety of different people presenting with a range of complex conditions including physical, mental health, cognitive, and sensory impairments.
  • Conducting a thorough functional medical assessment of their disability or condition.
  • Write and submit reports using a specialized IT system.

  • Registered Adult Nurses (Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability, General)
  • Occupational Therapists (Adult-focused)
  • Paramedics (Adult-focused)
  • Physiotherapists (Adult-focused)

    Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum of 1-year post-registration recent experience in a relevant adult setting.
  • Registration : Must have at least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
  • Skills : Strong communication, effective assessment skills, proficient at typing / report-writing, and excellent IT skills are essential.
